上次一个加拿大人问我深圳在中国是不是很厉害？他说他知道北京上海，连广州是广东省会都知道，就是没有听过 ...

我也有不少国外朋友，当他们真的来到深圳后，我所看到的最多的就是他们惊异的O型大嘴，一般高交会的时候，他们都从HK来，他们会问，SHENZHEN是不是香港的新区，问题很弱智，但是也反应出，深圳不并不为世界知晓

这个问题看从什么角度来谈，单从提升知名度本身我觉得方法多种多样，大运会本身就是一个例子，但是成本却太高，而且只是昙花一现！我想主要是考虑性价比，我不主张盲目的追求知名度，虚的东西不长久这个道理谁都知道，但如何来点实际的了？在下认为还是靠“创新”和“高科技”，将深圳打造成为中国的“硅谷”！美国的硅谷不需要任何体育赛事，主題工园，地標和金融市場国際化都足以让其闻名世界，而且是高端科技人士所向往的一个地方，而这也正好符合深圳改革开放三十多年来的路径，根据深圳目前的发展态势和规模来看也具备相当的实力，政府倘若画出一个区域和给出相应的政策及补贴来研究未来数十年后的科技之路，为其保驾护航，假以时日定能发挥出巨大的光芒
